about

This is a recording of a house concert we played on June 14 2011 in Engelthal, in the heart of the beautiful Frankenalb, Germany.

It was on sale for one week in April 2021. Half the profits went to our friend, the brilliant artist and wonderful person Emmie Tsumura, to offset the costs of her recovery from cancer treatment, and the other half to the Encampment Support Network in Toronto.

Everyone who bought this album had their name automatically entered into a draw to win "Transmission from Earth Angel Valley," the stained glass piece pictured here in the album art, made by Mathias, adapted from a piece by Emmie. Congratulations to KT, the lucky winner!

You can see more of Emmie's art at emmie-tsumura.format.com and follow her on Instagram at www.instagram.com/emsakko/?hl=en

Their densely populated genre-shifting songs are packed with an abundance of literary, historical, cultural, and pop-cultural forebears, heroes and villains, subjects and objects, stories and hooks.
